Interview with Naoko Okawachi Published in JREC-IN Portal

IDEAFUND Co., Ltd. (Founder & CEO: Naoko Okawachi, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that an interview with their CEO, Naoko Okawachi, and Ms. Akari Kawamatsu, a lecturer at the Faculty of International Studies of Culture at Kyushu Sangyo University, has been published in “JREC-IN Portal,” a career support portal site for research personnel operated by Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
This interview is a career support content in “Hakase-Compass,” a resource designed to support the career development of doctoral students, within the “JREC-IN Portal.”

IDEAFUND conducts qualitative research to gain a deep understanding of the subjects and to discover what they genuinely desire. This approach employs anthropological research methods, and students enrolled in the doctoral and master’s programs at the University of Tokyo have been involved in research and analysis since the company’s foundation.
This scheme creates a win-win relationship where “client companies gain profound insights into their customers and potential users beyond superficial understanding, doctoral students earn income while continuing their research, and our business grows as well.”

Ms. Kawamatsu, during her doctoral studies at the University of Tokyo, gained experience in conducting and analyzing interviews at IDEAFUND. Through this interview, she shared such a positive experience of engaging with corporate activities during her doctoral studies.

Hakase-Compass: Real-world experience provides valuable feedback for research.
