Tokyo, April 19th, 2019

IDEAFUND Co., Ltd. announced today that their CEO Naoko Okawachi took up a post as senior researcher of GLOCOM (Center for Global Communications).

GLOCOM was established as an affiliated research institute of the International University of Japan in 1991. Since its establishment, GLOCOM has focused on interdisciplinary Japanese research and information society research and practice rooted in the development and spread of information and communication technologies, and it aims to always be a cutting-edge research institute for new social trends as a point of contact for industry, government, academia, and the public (see the link: http://www.glocom.ac.jp/e/).

Since its foundation in 2018, Naoko and her colleagues have applied the methodology of cultural anthropology to market/consumer research. By doing so, they have always tried to understand the wholeness of consumers and to find some keys to innovation.

Naoko will continuously go ahead with realizing IDEAFUND’s mission — accelerate innovation with an idea. At the same time, she will put her findings back into the society as a non-profit researcher. They believe these activities will strengthen each other and benefit their clients greatly.
